‘Asfaleia’ is android based application, in which the system has the all necessary feature for the baby health related issues and development issues as well. Asfaleia is one platform to provide all the feature at one place. This system will record the Heart Rate or Pulse Rate of the child and save a note about the child about his medicine or any food allergies he/she have. Asfaleia will notified about your doctor next visit. System will also be notified about vaccinated or your next vaccinated date. You can find Hospitals which are nearby your location. System allow users to add pills (Medicines) which system will notify you when you have to take medicine. Users can now record sleep of your baby. Users can add their baby’s growth like: age, height, weight and are able to add baby’s favorite food. System allow users to add feeding time of a baby. Users can see day to day diaper change log and can export the history of their child’s information such as height, weight, age and heart rate as it is important to keep record of it to use it for medical uses. Asfaleia is providing all the health-related features in one platform. There are some health-related system for babies in our Country (Pakistan) that are similar to our system but they are limited in functionality and they are paid applications.

Project Objectives

The main goal or the objectives of our system is to provide reliability and flexibility to our parents and guardians. The main modules of our system are:

• Parent/Guardian can view their baby’s growth history.
• Parent/Guardian can add medicine and food allergies of their baby.
• Parent/Guardian can edit medicine and delete medicine of their baby.
• Parent/Guardian can Search Hospital

• Location Based Search.

• Parent/Guardian can find all the information related to baby’s favourite food.
• Parent/Guardian can measure their child heart rate.
• Parent/Guardian can add Vaccinated date and get Notified by our system.
• Parent/Guardian can add Their Doctor’s Next Visit and get Notified by our system.
• Parent/Guardian can export history and even send to mail or any other medium.
• Parent/Guardian can record sleep and height, weight and age of their baby.
• Parent/Guardian can track feeding time and check change diaper log’s history.
• Parent/Guardian can add new baby.
• Parent/Guardian can delete baby.
• Parent/Guardian are able to edit baby.

Benefits of the Project

Some parents worry about their child's growth and development. it can be reassuring to know that most kids who are short or delayed in development are healthy and normal. Our system will keep record of all the baby’s activities to help parent to understand their babies’ growth stages and health related issues.

Asfaleia will help parents and all the new Moms to understand the growth of their babies and all the babies’ daily life activities.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

There are many android based applications that are working related our system but with some limitations. Most of them are paid applications and they don’t have much feature in it. So, we are covering all the features related baby’s health and growth issues and bringing all them in one platform and we are providing additional features such as: Heart Rate Measure, Doctor ’Visit Reminder, Vaccination’s Reminder and Location Based Hospital Search.
