Project Summary

Up until now if any aspiring student who wants to get admission in SZABIST had any query regarding the admission process, they either had to travel or the
way to the campus, call the relevant department or go through all the lengthy documents that are present on the website which can be quite a hassle; Similarly if a student (currently in SZABIST) had any query let’s say from the
Academics department regarding their class schedule or from the Finance department regarding the fee issues, they had to travel from one campus to other which can be a headache for them. What if we design an intelligent
Chabot that can help them with all their queries at one place?
This is where SZABIST AI chat-bot fits in. Our Chabot will first understand the query presented by the user, then it will fetch relevant information based on the query, tailor it and respond the user in the best possible way.

Project Objectives

 The main objective of our project is building an AI Chatbot to solve the real-life use case, our main focus is built a Chatbot with tenser flow that they solved the issue of students and faculty in zabdesk. We use this use case to solve the situation of academic to provide solution in pandemic situation. To design a smart chat-bot for SZABIST that will primarily objectify to help the applicants to get info about the admission procedure. The chat-bot will also help the current student

Project Implementation Method

In order to build this chat-bot, we have intended to use Python as our choice of language for coding. The chat-bot will either be integrated to the SZABIST official website or it will made a separate stand-alone chat-bot with a separate web page prototype depending on the condition that we are provided access to the SZABIST official website.

There are following tools need to operate or work in our Back-End product and Frontend.

We are using Visual Studio Code to implement the project to set functionality of our CHATBOT and to work according to our main objective of this project.

The user will be using the website will be able to view the home page where the different options will appear. The organization and user or developer who wants details and download our Chatbot and check the demo as well how chatbot works. 

• Since the application must run over the internet, all the hardware shall require to connect internet will be the hardware interface for the system. As for e.g. Modem, WAN – LAN, Ethernet Cross-Cable.

The system has a direct connection with the network and with software Visual Studio Code

• Chat-bot will help the student schedule an appointment with the SZABIST therapist.
• Chat-bot will help the pass out students with their degree clearance procedure
• Chat-bot will help the students get a record of the current books they’ve issued from the library

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

1st Deliverable: Szabist Web UI

A fully functioning szabist UI. We will use Visual Studio Code for this perpose. The user will be using the website will be able to view the home page where the different options will appear. The organization and user or developer who wants details and download our Chatbot and check the demo as well how chatbot works.

2st Deliverable: Chatbot UI.

Integration of non functional Chatbot UI into the szabist website.
