Project Summary

Arch-Reality is a Designing Application that design and models architectural
structures by simply using drag and drop features. The fact that makes it different from any other designing application is that after you are finished your designing and modeling you not only can see the result in 3D but also on three different platforms, Mixed Reality, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality.

Project Objectives

The Important aspect of this project is that it can be used by almost anyone having some basic knowledge of this designing and modeling. This project will not only help architects to complete task but also a user with less skills and non-technical background. Because of its drag and drop features it become very easy to structure a better design in less time.

Project Implementation Method

The Implementation Phase is comprised of three modules,
• The first module is the Collection of 3D models to have predefined 3D objects in rendered form.
• The second module will be designing the application on UNITY 3D and integrating the pre- design 3D objects that we had gathered in the first module.
• In the last module we will integrate the tool into mixed/virtual/augmented reality.

we can design and model structures that require professional skills without even knowing those professional skills? That is exactly the motivation behind this project. This project will enable the user to be creative without being bound to one’s skills.

Our tool will enable the user to design and structure multiple floors As multiple layers. The tool will also provide different camera views for interior and exterior for example if you are working on the outside model you will be able to see the outside view through the camera and if you are working in the interior then you will be able to see the interior of the structure all this will be done through a toggle button which would be provided in the tool. Moreover, there would be different perspective elevations to see different views of the project.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The tool would be created using UNITY 3D platform. Firstly, we would create and gather basic pre-modeled 3D building elements Such as windows, roofs, household, and furniture etc. Then we would create the application on unity 3D in which we would provide the functionality of dragging those pre-modeled objects and dropping them at your desired locations and angles to create an architectural model.
