Analyzing Electricity using Smart Controller
Goal of our project is to create a mobile app which monitor and automate home appliances. Also we have to build app which also displays energy usage of appliances and to make recommendations of saving electricity. This app determines behaviour of usage of electricity and represents in graphical format so that user can see his usage data on daily basis.
To save energy is the drastic need of every country in the world specially the country Pakistan in which we are living. We are facing electricity issues since previous many year. But the major need is to save electricity from being wasted. A lot of portion of electricity is being wasted without any purpose. Recommendations will be provided to save electricity. More than this ease of use. Access of every home electricity devices even when you are away. So the market of this project is too vast. A single person will use this hardware module along with android app to monitor and control all the appliances of its home. The outcome of this project will surely be used in offices, firms, and large organizations. And full modified version of it will be used to monitor, control and saving electricity purposes for specific region. So this is helpful for a single home use to large organizations to use all of the electricity appliances in an effective and efficient way. So this project will surely be a successful project
Hardware Interfaces
Jumper Wires:
Conducting wires are used to transfer electrical signals.
Relay module:
It is a separate hardware device used for remote device switching. With it you can remotely control all hardware devices over network or internet it will of 12 watt
Wi-Fi module:
A WI-FI module with integrated TCP/IP protocols gives any microcontroller access to your WI-FI networks. we will use node uc 8866 for our project.
Arduino:
Arduino is an open-source electronic platform based on hardware and software. Arduino boards are able to read inputs - light on a sensor, a finger on a button, or a Twitter message - and turn it into an output - activating a motor, turning on an LED, publishing something online etc.
Vero Board:
Vero Board is used for making connections between electronic circuits.
Watt meter:
A meter for measuring electronic powers in watts.
Transistor:
We will use 2sa1015 transistor to separate the relay from switch.
Resistor:
We will use 10 kilom resistor to operate transistor base from circui
Android studio is a software used for developing android applications. In this software 2 main languages are user java and xml. Java is used for all coding for main logics of android application and xml is used for drawing interface of view of our application with which user can interact with app.
We will do Arduino microcontroller coding is through Arduino ide. It is an open source software having code written in c language. It has serial monitor with which we can check our data and all necessary information and burn our Arduino code to our board through Arduino ide software.
Firebase is fast and efficient in the way of huge amount of data handling since it has very large capacity. App has an interface that can be easily understandable by new user. System is capable of understanding behavior of user and recommend for saving of electricity. This usage data is retrieved from firebase and displayed in graphical format to user so that user can have knowledge of his usage and he can control high usage for next time. Also app display statistics of high or low values so that user do tight monitoring at time having high values for the purpose of saving electricity. Also, user can make reminder to check electricity usage and devices status.

App activity that receives energy usage data from sensors.
Data analyzer system in app that analyze data and make recommendations on it.
