An Efficient Motion Based Message System For Disable Person
Among large number of advancement done in medical sector, very few actually focus on helping patient with disabilities to communicate with nurse. Paralytic patient has to be dependent on a family member or mostly on nurse. Single nurse is responsible for number of patients, and requires a lot of time for nurse to visit every patient to meet his needs. most of the time the patients are unable to to build a verbal communication with nurses, despite In need . our main purpose is to build a modern system that will replace a conventional form of communication and with certain advancements. The project is based on motion sensing . The project to be build’s main idea is to implement a low cost reliable system which will help to create communication between disabled patients and a nurse. A patient can communicate with the nurse with the help of an accelerometer sensor mounted on his/her hand. Upon tilting the accelerometer will detect the angle of tilt and will send it to the Arduino uno and the Arduino uno will initiate a communication between the patient and the nurse . Each patient will have such a device installed on their hands and all such patients . Along with this a medicine reminder and an emergency buzzer to simplify the work of the nurse are implemented.. The text is shown on lcd ,at the transmitter as well as receiver side are speech modules , speakers. Additionally a message will send to the nurse as well as to the relatives(registered) via GSM in case of emergency . This project provides a reliable and simple yet important solution to various issues faced by nurses in conventional communication with disabled patients.

The project can be practically implemented in hospitals. the cost is quite reasonable , the hardware is flexible and easily mountable. initially as a prototype it can be tested on a single patient and with good results it will be implemented like every where . there are a lot of such disabled or paralytic patients which need be addressed daily .
The project is of great benefit and importance . we have thousands of disabled and paralytic patients around . there are also very scarcity of medical staff ,so with this efficient system a single nurse can attend and monitor many patients at a time . if efficiently applied a single medical member can monitor a whole ward ,so that we would be able to attend more patients and that too with less time.
So this project can minimize the time as well as human efforts .
With the completion of this project ,it can be practically implented in hospitals as well as homes .there will be an efficient communication system between patients and medical staff.it will provide security regarding patients when their relatives or guardians aren't present.for that a message will be send via gsm.so overall a great project for such patients with minimum effective cost.
