Project Summary

AMASO Incident Registering App is an application in which we will deal with accidents. So, in this application there are going to be multiple modules like in one module user can register himself by giving information like Name, CNIC, contact number, Address, Emergency Contact, Bio identity and as well as face identification for unfortunate event, so this data can be used for future use and after that user can login in this application by entering his legal information. In another module user can register any accident like if he witnesses any accident and he doesn’t know how to contact victim’s family so in this way he can take picture, and hospital address where victim is being shifted to and upload on newsfeed, if someone who is already registered on this app before and going through the newsfeed and notice updated registered accident and knows the victim so he can contact his family and check the person as soon as possible. In another scenario if victim is already registered on AMASO Incident Registering App application and another user of this application present at that moment scans victim face or finger prints for bio verification, the application will provide emergency contact of victim stored in database with the victim’s current location and condition. In short, this application will help people in critical situation like sometime there are people who die in accidents and remain unknown and their family try to find them but the struggle goes in vain because there is no source to help people to register accidents. So, this application will be going to help these types of people where information can travel fast and victim’s family can reach their beloved one and help them in critical situations where victims need their families the most.

Project Objectives

1) To provide easy registration for new users and integrate social logins to help save time. 2) To provide a flatform to register accidents and causalities by scanning face or fingerprints of the victim. 3) To help users register different family members and/or emergency contacts. 4) Send message and notifications to emergency contacts and/or family members. 5) The app will not only notify emergency contacts but also show recent incidents in newsfeed.

Project Implementation Method

The purpose of the development of this application is to contribute and elevate new methods and processes to people’s safety. With the fast-changing methods, immersion to the technological advancement and environmental approach to security and safety will promoting the welfare and safety of the people in public premises. Employing Rapid Application Development is the best development model used in this development. As people find the mobile application usable and reliable in case of emergency and incidents so this will provide better experience registering the incident from anywhere and anytime. 
 

Benefits of the Project

We expect this application to be a common accident registering app in future, this might help saves many lives in the near future. We have high hopes that one day we all will travel safely hoping that even if something happens to us, our relatives will be informed by someone via AMASO Incident Registering App.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Our proposed system will provide many features to the users like users will be prompted to save their biometrics that includes facial map and fingerprints and we will use these to identify the user in any futures incidents/ accidents. If a user hasn’t saved his or her biometrics or if someone’s that is not registered with our app he or she will not be recognized if any incidents happen to them, is this case we have a backup plan that is the in-app newsfeed that will show all the unidentified cases to other users so that their relatives or kins would be able to identify them.
All these functionalities depend on the use of internet and if internet is not available our apps use will be limited, to overcome this issue we can use mobiles own storage to store the incident in internal memory if internet is not available and then upload it when the internet is available. Another solution that can also be implemented in the future is to collab with mobile network companies to ensure our app works even with zero internet balance.

It can be further classified as functional requirements and non-functional requirements. Given below are summarised functional and non- functional requirements of the proposed AMASO incident reporting system.

• Report incident using mobile application 
• Get current location of the reporter using mobile application 
• Upload incident images using camera or gallery 
Non Functional Requirements 
• Creating a user’s friendly mobile application 
• Maintain accuracy of data 
• Application availability 24 x 7 and reliability of the whole system.
