The artists community is lacking a portal that allows them to gain news about the community, a troubleshooting platform in the shape of a forum, rent workspace for work or storage, browse, bid, purchase and display art on the same network where all the artist community resides. The portal will have an online gallery space which would be linked to a physical gallery space; where the approved buyers and sellers will bid/sell their art products. It will also host a news section that will host articles written by writers/reporters in the community, a troubleshooting platform as a thread forum where administrators and users will help each other solve all issues regarding art creation to its display, law awareness section that will help the artists learn about laws governing the field of arts, an awareness campaign section where our influencers will help spread awareness about the art community and fight issues such as to better pay for hired artists etc. and finally a newsletter section which will allow subscribers to stay up-to-date on APAC’s activities. The website will also host a page that is dedicated to APAC’s Treasury which serves as a fund for struggling artists.

Project Objectives

We are developing a flutter mobile application for the art community of all over Pakistan under the flag of All Pakistan Artists’ Collective (APAC). The project will cover the digital aspect of the APAC’s existence which will revolutionize the industry, this site will be the hub of all the artists in Pakistan in every field for news, community discussions, threads to help each other and the most impactful part it will also provide a display-sell/bid-purchase system for the artists.

The physical aspect of this idea will define how we are getting the art community to invest in this idea and to gather enough resources to maintain a treasury fund which will help artist entrepreneurs to produce art as well as gain access to work and gallery spaces. This will support fresh graduates, freelancers and passionate artists to gain access to resources which are normally very hard to obtain. The existing gallery spaces may not be a viable option for artist entrepreneurs due to their approval terms, availability and affordability. APAC will allow these artists to secure a work and gallery space at a minimal cost and display their art while connecting directly to their consumers through various centers established initially in Karachi and hopefully later all across Pakistan. APAC will also help bring issues forward relating art community in general especially regarding the employed artists in the job sector for better pay and other work-related issues not understood by people outside the art community. APAC will also bring the community together by creating a troubleshooting platform in the shape of a universal forum for Pakistan as currently such issues are discussed in groups scattered across social media platforms. There is also a lack of awareness about legality involved in creating/displaying art in the art community. APAC will help artists better understand the law that governs the field of arts through Law Encyclopedia where artists can read and search the laws as well as take a course to study and better understand them, becoming able to better devise strategies to portray societal issues through their art.

Project Implementation Method

We first made the structure of our organization then on the bases of that we made an ERD through which we developed the understanding of what type of components we will be needing to develop this app so we developed on the go through out our FYP 1.

Benefits of the Project

APAC will benefit Pakistani artist community to grow larger and stronger you see the small artists cant afford expensive art galleries and do not even have space to work in so our orginization will provide them the space and a platform where they can sell their product all over pakistan. they will have a thread section to get help from other artists and will also be provided with legal advices and news reports related to art.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

Because our application of APAC was being developed in our FYP. So in FYP 1 our requirements were to deliver a successfully running app now that its made and running our FYP 2 requires us to insert a Product recommendation system which will be operating on sentiment analysis.

And for the physical part of the APAC origination which is not the part of our FYP we will need funding to get a APAC Headquarters which will have all our administrators and all their employees our heads and it will also have the physical workspaces and physical gallery.
