Project Summary
In this IoT project, we will make the Alexa Smart Home Automation system using the NodeMCU ESP8266 & Relay Module. You can easily control light, fan, and other home appliances with the voice command. To connect the Echo Dot smart speaker with the NodeMCU, I have used only the Amazon Alexa app.
If you don't have Echo Dot smart speaker, still you can control the home appliances. And you can also monitor the relay time feedback of the switches from the smartphone.
Project Objectives
The main objective of this project is to build a smart home device which can be used to control the home appliances via internet. The home automation device that you build can be integrated with almost all the home appliances and can be used to control them remotely from any part of the world.
To facilitate the wireless connectivity with the system, the NodeMCU esp8266 will be embedded with a WiFi module. This establishes the internet connection to the system and all the home appliances can in turn be connected and controlled by internet.
Project Implementation Method
To do so, visit the Alexa app and search for each device's skills. Once you've found a skill, hit the enable button. You might need to pair Alexa with your smart equipment, which you'll do by saying (to Alexa), Pair devices, and you should be good to go. And after this we will make the circuitry of home automation system, and we will program our NodeMCU esp8266 as we want to command. Then it will be done.

Peace of Mind: Finally, many consumers invest in home automation technology for peace of mind. A new mom or dad can check on their little one thanks to smart cameras and other technologies. Or, if you can’t remember whether you closed the garage after you left, you can verify remotely with an app.
Technical Details of Final Deliverable
In this we use alexa echo dot with NodeMCU esp8266 by doing programming of it as we want. We just made it to turn on bulbs for just to show that it can work but you can add anything that you want to add. Relays plays also an important role because they will allow us to connected with high voltage.
It is very useful for disable persons that can not move from one place to another place. Final deliverable project will allow them to access easily, whatever they want to do just by voice. They will can easily on off anything of home just by voice.
