This application was made for the ease of farmers and to increase the cultivation rate of crops in Pakistan. The application is developed in such a way that every farmer and an individual can use and understand this application without any kind of complexity. The user/farmer can get help in determining whether the land can be cultivated or not, which kinds of crops can be grown and how much of fertilizers should be used against a specific crop. It also acknowledges the user about some of the land characteristics.

Project Objectives

Pakistan is an agricultural country. Agriculture plays a very important role in the economy of Pakistan. The farmers in Pakistan face a lot of problems during the fertilization process and do lots of tests repeatedly for their land. The farmers need land test reports so that proper results must be known about the soil parameters and other details about land. These land test show the values of different minerals present in the soil. By considering the current issues regarding land and crop cultivation it was decided to help out the farmers and do a service for country. It is decided to build an application that will guide the farmers about land characteristics and which would help user/farmer to know what kind of crop could be cultivated on land according to land characteristics and the right amount of fertilizers to use.

Project Implementation Method

The user/farmer can get help in determining whether the land can be cultivated or not, which kinds of crops can be grown and how much of fertilizers should be used against a specific crop. It also acknowledges the user about some of the land characteristics.

Benefits of the Project

This application will the best option for the farmers to know about their soil. It suggests that how to use land in such a way that it does not have to become uncultivable also this app guides every farmer in such a way that this application can be used to its full potential and get the expected results. Every farmer will be able to use right kind and amount of fertilizer for the crop and can save crops form getting rotten. In future work the app will also suggest to a user that if land is uncultivable how to make that land cultivatable. By using this application, the farmer will be able to know whether land can be cultivated or not. And the farmer will also be able to know which kind of crops he/she can grow on the land. 

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

  • Online connectivity to update the weather info.

PH value should be less than 14 for the cultivation of crops. If the value is greater than land can’t use for the cultivation
