This project is providing optimum design and reliable operation of agricultural hexa-copter drone sprayer, which is economic solution of problems, faced by community while agricultural spray of pesticides. This drone sprayer is from family of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for helping formers in the field. It is an autonomous aerial surveyor, which will provide aerial surveillance, recognize and track various objects in the agricultural field, and is a rapid application of plant protection agents. Agriculture fertilizer spraying drone has proven as unique method for reducing time and human efforts. In this project, prime objectives are, to design and develop the reliable spraying mechanism, parametric analysis, investigate component selection criteria, and, suggest different controlling parameters of efficient spray mechanism of drone, to integrate with low weight aluminum structure of hexa-copter frame of drone, which could lift payload of 3 kg including itself.
Project ObjectivesThe objectives of this project are to
- Design and build the reliable spraying mechanism of drone sprayer
- Do parametric analysis and investigate component selection criteria of hexa-copter drone sprayer according to desired payload
- Make Hexa-copter drone sprayer, which could lift payload of 3 kg including itself.
Project will initiate with the designing of spray mechanism to mount with hexa-copter drone. Selection of the components of drone such as frame design, propeller design, motor, GPS antenna, pump, nozzles etc., would be done according to desired payload. Control system would be designed and verified. Desired Parts would be purchased and hexa-copter Drone will be build and presented after test and trials.
