The adhoc wireless communication suite based on hand gesture is a system desgined for gesture to voice message two way communication. The aim of the system is to convert hand gesture into voice message and transmit that voice message to receiver. The system is composed of two subsystem.

Project Summary

The adhoc wireless communication suite based on hand gesture is a system desgined for gesture to voice message two way communication. The aim of the system is to convert hand gesture into voice message and transmit that voice message to receiver.

The system is composed of two subsystem.

Sender side subsystem contains a hand glove. In order to start gesture based communication the sender will first wear the hardware consisted hand glove and activation gesture(predefined for security purpose). Once activation gesture is performed the sender can now perform any gesture defined in dataset to convey his message to receiver. The gesture is captured by sensors and processed by microcontroller and converted to binary stream. This binary stream is transmitted to receiver by using transreceover .

On receiver side there is another transreceiver and hand glove having microprocessor. The transreceiver receives the the binary stream ans transfers it to microprocessor. The microprocess processes the binary stream using dataset and convert it to voice message and this voice message is deliverd to ear of receiver by using ear piece.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The system is a composed of hardware and software ecosytem.

The system is further consisting of two subsystems. 

The sender side has a hand glove. The glove have 5 flex sensorsone for each fingure.These flex sensors are made up of resistors. These sensors are used to measure bendness of fingers in form of voltage.There is a MPU6050(gyro sensor) which is attach at the palm of hand glove. This sensor is responsible for measuring rotation and orientation of hand. The voltage from gyro and flex sensro is given to arduino. If the voltage of orientation and rotation made is verified (by checking with predefined activation voltage).The voltage from flex sensor is check and convert to binary stream. This binary stream is transmitted to receiver by using nrf24l01 transreceiver.

On receiver side there is hand glove having rasberry pi and nrf24l01 transreceiver. And a ear piece. The transmitted binary stream is received by transreceiver of receiver side and is transferred to rasberry pi.Rasberry pi takes this binary stream and convert this into voice message by algorithm implementation and dataset usage. Once the message is converted.Voice message is listened by receiver through ear piece.
