To develop an accident prediction model for different function class of road of Pakistan.
As the population of the world is increasing day by day and the use of vehicle is also increasing with the rates and due to which alot of accidents occur daily,so we are making a model for different function class of road of Pakistan with the help of STATA and Nlogic softwares by using the previous accident data of at least five years.With the help of this model we can find the accident rates just by putting the previous accident data of this roadĀ
Project Objectives- To increase road safety
- To minimize accident frequency
- To find average accident rate of different function class of roads
1) Traffic accident data and road geometrical data will be collected from the concerned authorities.
2) The collected data will be analyzed by using STATA and Nlogic softwares.
3) Relationship will be obtained between accident frequency, traffic characteristics and road geometrical features.
4) accident rate can be fined.
