Project Area of Specialization Electrical/Electronic EngineeringProject SummaryZigbee is the wireless media that everyday devices use to connect to one another. The ZigBee wireless protocol offers low complexity, reduced resource requirements. The main purpose of this Project is to design advanced monitoring and controlling of electrical devices like light, fan, pump, bulb etc at home through wireless Zigbee device from remote place. To achieve these goals, the system runs a user-defined program on a special purpose processor, using real-world sensor inputs as operands.
Project Objectives1. To provide Energy saving and power managing by using Zigbee.
2.To understand the basic concept of zigbee.
3.To achieve and maintain optimum Power utilization.
4.Implementation of zigbee scheme on a few home appliances.
5.Validation of result.
Project Implementation Method- First we pair zigbee.
- Then we will interface Zigbee with microcontroller.
- we will interface our sensors with microcontroller.
- We will program our microcontroller to get data from sensors.
- Sensor used in our project are PIR,LDR, Temperature sensor, water level sensor
- We will interface LCD with microcontroller for displaying our data.
- Data will consist of Temperature, Voltage Current ,Power and light intensity.
- Controller perform calculations according to programming.
- We will control all these appliances with PC application and Remote

- Online security system of critical areas monitored and controlled from any where.

- Setup of a few home appliance.
- Interface the sensors with microcontroller STM32.
- Sensing appliance’ data (amperes , voltage and power ) using microcontroller.
- Controlling appliances by desktop application and Remote control.
- Generate file of sensing appliance
