We have designed zero head vertical hydrokinetic turbine .This turbine will be applicable where there is no head and velocity of water is low.It will provide efficient power generation with minimum effort.
Our project objective is to generate electricity by installing turbine in small canals and channels and overcome energy crisis in pakistan
We will implement our turbine in water by making frame according to the area of installation so that we could overcome friction losses and produce maximum power
Our project will help to overcome energy crisis in pakistan.It is easy to install with minimum civil work required .And will be removed easily
We tested 3 different angles of twist and analyze the effect on Cp. We found our results through ansys.
