Project Summary

Zambeel is an Augmented Reality based mobile application, that enables a user to visualise jewelry/accessories (3D view) and order by sitting at home. All they have to do is open the app, select a product, place the cell phone camera over their wrist/finger/face, and they can view the actual look of the product on them. The user can also view the descriotion, select their size, color etc and place an order. 

Project Objectives

The purpose to work on augmented reality is to try the product before ordering and buying, in order to
achieve maximum customer satisfaction.

In addition, we will provide 3D models or designs to customers which
they can try on their wrist i.e. bangles, bracelets and watches. Customer can check a new product on 3D view on
his/her wrist and can resize, redesign and change color of product before ordering it.

3D design made by designers(gold/silver jewelry) is given to the jeweler, and uploaded on the application. Every time a user purchases any particular design, the designer as well as the jeweller gets paid. This would provide emploment and benefits to the designers all around the globe.

Project Implementation Method

The products will be first designed through Matrix 3D then put it in Unity 3D for rendering our design and using AR engine and mix it with Vuforia, then use Android Studio for making an application with  AR support. 

Benefits of the Project

- In this fast paced life, people prefer shopping while they sit at their homes. However, there are some wearables that a person is not satisfied buying online because they cannot tell how it will look on them. Customers can benefit from Zambeel because it gives a 3D view of the accessory/jewelry etc, so customer can be 100% satisfied and shop online.

- Zambeel will also benefit the designers as they will get paid for each design that is sold.

- It will also benefit the jewelry makers(shop keepers) who get the design made out of gold/silver.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The final deliverable will be an android application that would work on the cellphone/tablet camera. The user can select the product of their choice, and place the camera on their wrist/face/finger/neck/ears (depending on the nature of wearable) and the application will give them a 3D view of how a particular product would look when they wear it.
