Project Area of Specialization Electrical/Electronic EngineeringProject SummaryWe have focused the project on wireless power transmission and di?erent ways in achieving the e?ciency.The project focuses on transmitting a certain amount of power through certain distance. So the variables like distance and the amount of power transmission have been cosidered. In order to address the problem we have used Tesla-Coil as transmitter. It is also renowned as Tesla tower. Though Tesla coil being a multipurpose device we are precise on using it in WPT. We have tried to compare the tower with the regular radio tower present in the- city and receivers being di?erent devices connected just like phones, in a broader perspective. The e?ciency of the process goes up to 80%-90% omitting losses. We further see the a?ect of connecting single device and multiple devices to the tower in terms of e?ciency. WPT itself having multiple applications like device charging, charging in electric vehi cles, nanotechnology, medical appliances, powering up vehicles, etc. The ?eld is advance and lot of research is being done mitigating the challenges.

Project Implementation MethodThe following steps were followed:
1-The 220V AC supply stepped down to 12V by using single phase Transformer.
2-Then 12V AC was the rectified to 12V DC by using single phase rectifier.
3-The rectified 12V supply was given to the single phase inverter to get the high frequency AC output.
4-The high frequency output was then supplied to the primary coil having few number of turns.
5-Then the mutual induction occurs by which the voltage stepped up at the scondary coil having a large of turns.
6-These high frequency voltages then supplied to the recieving coil that will be energized due to changing magnetic flux.
Benefits of the ProjectThe benefits of our project are:
1-It can be used in charging of electrical vehicles.
2-It can be used to charge and operate the home appliances wirelessly.
3-It can be used in biomedical field as there is a lot of energy due to resonance.
4-It can be used in nanotechnology.
