Abstract:

Increasing numbers of institutes have set up facilities on the Web portal as way of providing users (i.e, Students Faculties with information about their features. Generally, in University, things are done manually submission of research paper, so to avoid this we are designing a web portal for our university, which will be helpful in features like time saving easy access and user friendly, this portal aim to design a Web portal for our university where the facilities will be provide online for submission of research paper to Mehran university research journal. This portal provides useful facilities for students who wish to access the portal through web service.

Indroduction:

An institute is a highly interactive environment and collaboration between various entities is an integral part of its functioning. This collaboration takes place between the institutes and students. In institutes, traditional methods These traditional methods are providing efficient access to information. Nowadays students get very tired regarding submission of their research paper and time consuming and also very costly to submit their paper in hardcopy. Today’s education scenario is rapidly changing and demanding. Students demand a higher level of access to information about their options, their performance, their learning environment and their future. They also demand that technology resources be an integral part of their learning experience. The standard for access to university and student services will change as students come to expect virtual access to students and services resources. This can be achieved by creating a web portal because portals are nowadays becoming increasingly popular by enabling the development and maintenance of specific communities of interest on corporate intranets or the Internet. We are designing a web portal for our institute, which will provide facility for submission of research paper journal.

Project Objectives

We are designing a web portal for our university where we are providing online facility to submission of research paper journal.

Project Implementation Method

In this web portal , we are using technologies  for front look of our website such as HTML5. HTML5 is a markup language used for structuring and presenting content on the World Wide Web. It is the fifth and last major HTML version that is a World Wide Web Consortium recommendation, CSS,Stands for "Cascading Style Sheet." Cascading style sheets are used to format the layout of Web pages, 

JAVASCRIPT:javaScript ("JS" for short) is a full-fledged dynamic programming language that can add interactivity to a website, and BootStrap: Bootstrap is a free yet powerful front-end HTML, CSS, and JavaScript CSS framework that helps to creating a responsive and mobile-first websites.

If we talk about Back-end means this is the data-access and server side of the website.The back end of a website consists of a server, an application, and a database. We are using MYSQL for our website database, and PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) is a server-side scripting language that is used to create dynamic web pages and an ability to interact with database systems like MySQL.

Benefits of the Project

The benefits of this portal is to easy to access time saving cost saving means that there is no need to submit in hardcopy and user friendly.This portal provides useful facilities for students who wish to access the portal through web service, and access it from anywhere if have a proper connection.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The technical term of view , we are using these above technologies that defined in,to combine these technologies we will make a responsive web for our univesity.
