Total Dissolved Solid System (TDS) which can measure the sum of organic and inorganic substances in water. TDS solids are normally found in all freshwater systems. It is a quality indicator for drinking water and is a general measure of the presence of chemicals. So basically, TDS enters recirculating water systems with the water supply from well water.
Total dissolved solids can affect your water quality, your health, your home plumbing system, and even daily tasks, such as cooking and cleaning. To understand water quality and how it affects your daily life, TDS allows you to solve water quality problems and install most effective filtration system for your home.
It removes the dissolved solids in the water that are responsible for TDS level. It removes harmful substances present in the water and sense the temperature as well through TDS. We can measure it as a volume of water with unit milligrams per liter.
1. ESP32 connected with breadboard.
2. Connect ESP32 and TDS Sensor with the help of Jumper wires.
3. We are using waterproof DSB1820 temperature sensor which is connected to ESP 32 by its connector because you have to be careful,
4. Connect LED DISPLAY with ESP32 and Waterproof temperature sensor with jumper wires.
5. We are using THINGSPEAK and BLYNKAPP for graphing and alerting the current situation for representation
TDS in drinking water originates from places like natural sources, sewage, urban run-offs, industrial wastewater, chemicals in the water treatment process, chemical fertilizers used in the garden and plumbing. Water is a universal solvent and easily picks up impurities and can absorb and dissolve these particles quickly. Although elevated levels of TDS in drinking water is not a health hazard. It also helps the society to drink fresh waters in very organization specially in government sectors. Safe and secure system and environment friendly.
This system will help you to indicate safe and unsafe water conditions and provide the data in ppm value which indicated how many particles are dissolved per million of water molecules. The normal TDS level ranges from 50 ppm to 1,000 ppm. High levels of TDS can create “off” tastes and odors in drinking water, and it can also have technical effects.
