Project Summary

The people of Karachi don’t have an automated system to inform/update them about the water supply availability from the Karachi Water & Sewerage Board . The main objective of this project is awareness the end-users about the water supply timings through an Android application. The Arduino module Node MCU ESP8266 and Vibrations caused in pipes are used for the detection of real time pumping. The program is embedded into Arduino Node MCU ESP 8266 that would send a notification alart to Android application with connect to the Firebase database connectivity .

Project Objectives

• The main objective of this project is awareness the end-users about the water supply timings through an Android application.
• It would save the time of people who checking the motor again and again whether the water is coming or not.
• It would facilitate the Karachi water and sewerage board employee’s monitories the pumping station and motor.

First step to visited water board pumping station and gather the data and then first evaluation we complete the all hardware and connectivity with firebase and hardware and before final evaluation complete Android application and web application.

Benefits of the Project

We are fouce on Karachi people are face problem of water supplied by the Karachi water & Sewerage Board(KWSB) In our project we provide mobile applicaiton to generate alert when pumping station is start pumping. Our application is generate area wise alert when those area pumping station is start pumping then alert other wise no alert over all karachi.

Karachi water & Sewerage Board(KWSB) is manage all over records of end-user and their activity.

In future scope

• Generating the alert through the SMS for those who doesn’t use smartphones.
• Water purity module implementation to check the minerals and other necessary aspects that may affect the water purity.
• Statistics regarding the water flow and water level with respect to each area as a daily report.
• User`s inquiry feature through an android application about the water board or regarding issues.
