Visual Recognition and Sensing of Humans (VRASH) is about reducing human effort. VRASH detects the human presence in a particular space (room or hall) and recognizes the faces for the attendance. It also tells the total time of a space been occupied by the person. The effort of a teacher of making attendance call and the time consumption on that will be managed accurately plus there will be no blunder in attention call. VRASH will also identify whether the room is in use or not so that it could be used for other lectures/seminar/activity. The project is surrounded by core concepts of Artificial intelligence and Computer Vision.
We are going to make visual recognition and sensing human by using cameras which will be used in Educational institute as an attendance system, Security Departments i.e. police stations to recognize criminals, Public seminarsto recognize the people, Political Events and Public places i.e. hotels, parks, hospitals.
After the basic research , we start looking to make our own system which detect or recognize the human in motion state. Our research in our own institute motivates us also to create the system because our country is so far from the world in the technology. So in the beginning we just tried to make an algorithm which suits our idea. For this we start collecting data for the project in order to train and test it. We use a cam for the collection of data and this data will be collect in hardware.
The main benifit of our VRASH is that it will detect and recognize the human in the motion state and no human needs to stands in front of camera to recognize his/her identity.
This is the main benifts of VRASH.
we are using 3 camers. one camera is for income students and one is for outgoing these two camera's are going to be near the door. The third camera will be in the classroom in the suitable position from where all the class could be managed.
The number of cameras in the classroom depends on the area of the class. As the area of class room increase the number of camers increased otherwise one camera will be used for the normal classrooms.
