The most important and first term in voice control is speech recognition i.e. making the robotic arm to understand human voice. Speech recognition is the process of conversion of human voice in to useful text commands. Simply the speech recognition is the process in which system recognize human voice. Recognition is the capability of connecting hardware and software is this way that they can interpret human voice for robotic arm. Speech Recognition contains two important steps
· Recognize voice commands except voice
· Identify those voice commands
The speech recognition depends on parameters like mode of speaking, language and speaking styles. Voice controlled robotic arms interprets human voice and convert it in to human arm movements accurately
Project Objectivesour project presents a system whereby the human voice used to operate a real 3D robotic arm. We make efficient prosthetic hand which work like a real human hand. Individuals with motor impairments such as those with paraplegia, amputations e.t.c carry out their activities with voice command. Previous techniques based on EMG though efficient for some cases but unsatisfactory and need effort to carry out their activities therefore voice is simplest tool for this purpose because individual has to move his hand by simple voice commands. It is easy to work with voice module and cost effective.
