In summer, the car temperature is very high inside for the medicines and water bottles. This causes consuming more fossil energy to power the refrigerator to maintain the temperature and this generate harmful gases which are dangerous for living things. There is currently no effective method to address this problem in an energy-saving and environmentally friendly manner.
Our project Vaccine Carrier requires car battery to power up the cooling box for vehicles. Our main focus is to cool the box using peltier module which provide the temperature difference between the plates of peltier. The cooled side plate is attached to internal part of cooling box and hot side plate is attached with water cooling mechanism. With the help of peltier and cooling mechanism we are trying to work our Vaccine Carrier at its peak. We are using car battery which can be attached to peltier, as peltier modules runs on DC power supply so that there are no such hurdles faced during power supply.
Peltier module can minimize the energy demands, increase energy effectiveness and reduce fossil energy consumption in buildings. This system can easily be built for our homes rather than car cooling system only.
Project ObjectivesThe main objective is to design an efficient car cooling box which will keep at least moderate temperature inside the box. If its 60 above degree inside the car we will reduce it to 0-5 degree inside the box, using car battery, Peltier module, cooling mechanism and radiator system. This system will be very beneficial for long distance travelling by keeping different types of medicines and small water bottles cool. This system is needed almost in all the countries where hot weather conditions are observed.

The project implementation consist of two phases the first phase which is totally depended on cooling box for medicines and small water bottle whereas the second phase depends upon the car cooling system. The working on each phase is explained below.
- The main part of the first phase is the construction of cooling box. We make sure that we design air tight box with good quality of insulation material to achieve the best possible results.
- Purchasing of all the required equipment’s.
- Assembling required components
- Testing the desired output watts from the car battery.
- Combining all the components together to achieve the desired outcome
- Write up for the progress report of first phase.
- Vaccine Carrier can carry different types of vaccine and water bottles while we are traveling for a long distance.
- It can mantain a temperature of -5 degree centigrate at the expense of 12 volts dc.
- While other type of cooling boxes produce cfc gas that can affect ozone layer vaccine carrier will not produce such gases.
