This project is proposed to provide a transport solution for hundreds of students to reach their educational institutes or get back to home/desired destinations. The mobile-based application, under consideration, will provide an interface where both driver and rider can meet once they complete the Sign-Up process. Student transport solution by sharing their rides is focus of the project. It facilitates students to recognize the way-out to solve the issues related to their transport. It also guides the students about destination route and instructions.
- Introduction:
Sharing is the most powerful tool for human interaction and satisfaction like sharing ideas with co-workers, sharing a meal with friends and sharing a ride with a person going your way it's just so central to human growth and development but this core value is slowly slipping away from our hands making us less human. We are too sceptical about sharing ideas, too greedy to share a lunch, too cold to show affection and too afraid to share a ride well here we are in our effort to revive faith in humanity presenting you RideShare as the modern and secure way of taking and giving lifts instead of the outdated and risky one.

- Rider App
- User will login to the app and if not registered already then sign-up using credentials (Name, CNIC, UniversityName, City, Gender, PhoneNumber).
- Once logged in, enters the home location so that app can calculate the possible routes.
- Whenever user needs to get a ride, he/she will just select Institution or Home then app will book an available driver with same / closest route.
- You will get his location or can also contact him through the app to meet and start your ride.

The driver may be the student, faculty member or a staff member of the same institute.
- User will login to the app and if not registered already then sign-up using credentials (Name, CNIC, UniversityName, City, Gender, PhoneNumber).
- Once logged in, enters the home location so that app can calculate the possible routes.
- The driver can set destination and wait for 2-3 min so, that rider can approach him by phone call/ message.
- Rider sends requests to add their stop to journey. If the driver is feasible to go through that route, he will accept that request, after which driver pick the rider and drop him at his destination and get the fare.
The app will provide an app tour for the first use and all instructions will be available in Help Menu.
Project ObjectivesA mobile application that will let the customers(riders) hail a ride which was already
going on the same route and cost them much less than fares of other ride-hailing
services like Careem/Uber. This will not only benefit the riders but also the drivers as
they will earn at least the fuel they were already going to burn through their way to
the home/destination.
Not just that we want a better future for the world which will be possible by lowering
the carbon emissions and voila! We also solved that by making people share rides
with others at low costs.
Low Travelling Costs -> More Users sharing rides ->Low Vehicles on Road ->Low
Carbon Emissions ->Better Environment -> A Better World -> A Win-Win situation

This project is focused on developing a mobile-based application in React
Native for Mobile Apps Development (iOS and Android), ReactJS for Web Portal of
the System, MongoDB for database management, ExpressJS for Web Portal Back-end
that provides dynamically solution of transport problems.
We will import different libraries in the source code to speed up the
development and achieve our goals effectively; maintain codes and will also create
functions with our logic. Focus is based on the efficient, easy and concise solution.
In today’s world, the Internet is widely accessible. Our project has the purpose
to facilitate those students that have not much budget and time to travel through
public transport because of time or by their own vehicle because of fuel costs.
Currently, there is no such websites or mobile based application providing any
solution for the student to reach the destination on less cost and timely. Our
application will provide quality solutions to transport problems for the student. It will
handle the student’s problem in the ride.
