Project Summary

The purpose of the tutor finding system is to assist students/tutors to find private tuitions interactively. It is an application-based tool to complement the efforts of studentsto find a private tutor. Students post the request for a tutor for tuitions (particular subjects or Topics) according to their needs and it would be sent towards the respective registered tutors (FULLY VERIFIED) who are willing to teach students. If a student is facing difficulties in a certain subject, he/she would simply write down his requirements and this application will do its job they don't need to have certain skills or training to arrange a teacher for themselves. For more convenience, A chat box is there to interact with peers it also supports sharing location if needed. The major problem is that needy students in their crucial times (exams) can’t getwhat they search for like well-qualified teaching staff, experienced, knowledge about past and present having teaching expertise. For more convenience, there will be a short tutorial video uploaded by the tutor so students can find the best tutor with a better teaching experience. It will be a hybrid app and can be used as a mobile app and a web app.

A tutor can get tuitions only if his academic record is fully verified (a scanned copy of documents and go through several tests with their respective subjects). The payment system is embedded so they don’t have to worry about their monthly payments. They get paid once they completed the monthly sessions and will be monitored byboth parties’ attendance in real-time i.e. from the student end and the tutor end. Payments will be charged by students at the beginning of the month and will be delivered to the respective tutor at the end of the month based on their presents in the respective month with some share to the system. Location-based search. There is a half-annual subscription method for tutors so in case he left the app and don’t want to continue he will be notified t re-subscribe if he doesn’t re-subscribe after several notices his record will be held on the backend database to lessen the load on the main server. Only fully verified tutors can get the tuitions. Overall, it can solve most of the problems, students who are facing difficulties in their academics in their academic career, and people with good academic backgrounds trying to find tuitions by providing both entities a common platform.

Project Objectives

In our society, most students are unaware of well-qualified tutors living around them. Similar unawareness is also found in tutors. Many teachers having expertise in their subjects still struggle financially. All these problems occur because there is no medium of connectivity between teachers and students. The main objective of this project is to overcome the gap between teachers and students and to improve our education system. It can help teachers to grow their professional careers with their respective subjects and to meet their financial needs.

Project Implementation Method

We use the Waterfall methodology in the development of our Web application because waterfall is the most conventional software development methodology. It has been the most popular approach for web Development Projects We use MERN (HTML, CSS, JS, MongoDB, Express, REACT, NODE.js)  Fullstack and flutter for the development of our project.

Benefits of the Project

The outcome will be a complete system that will help a student/parent to find a suitable teacher/tutor. All they have to do is to register themselves and post a request for the tutor. The request will be notified to all the related tutors registered on the application. The targeted area is college students. There will be topic-wise and course-wise tuitions available students can select according to their needs and will be charged accordingly. Using a chat method both peers can interact and can share their location if needed. The system will help the tutors to meet financial needs by offering services to students and students can get qualified tutors for the preparation of difficult courses.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

final deliverables include a web app, a mobile app, and an admin panel. web and mobile apps can be used for interaction between students and tutors, and the authorities can use the admin panel to control, manage, and maintain the smooth functioning of the system.
