Project Summary
The major source of every knowledgeable information is either a computer or internet. Everything is transforming these days along with the traditional method of learning. With the rising competition emerging between student’s parent find the task of finding a qualified and experienced tutor tedious the existing system based on finding tutors for parents or finding prospective students for tutors is a very time consuming and tiring process for the parents, students and tutors. Even after spending hours on the task, the websites currently available do not give relevant results. Our project overcomes these flaws by reducing the time consumed for searching and displaying the results within the shortest time. The proposed work has a common platform where the teacher and the student can access their respective available views. In this application, students can register and view the availability of the subject expert based on the registered nearest location of the tutor. The main objective behind making this project is to enhance student and teacher relationships. Android application for finding tutors has been designed to make it convenient for students and teachers to find each other.
Project Objectives
The basic objective of our application is to promote education and also provide job opportunities to the teacher or people those who are seeking to promote their skill though teaching also those students how don't get proper attention in their schools or respected institute will learn from hiring professional teacher from our platform.
Project Implementation Method
As our project is an Android-based Mobile Application in which we use Google Map APIs and Fasebase as a backend server so we first make our project prototype in two steps.
1. We draw a sketched prototype on PowerPoint Dashboard
2. We create a proper functional prototype on Adobe Xd and make use of it on Android Studio to generate the XML file for the front-end.
After creating the proper structure new it time to create a database through firebase, including
1. Authentication System (For both teachers and Students)
2. Real-Time database.
Once we complete these two things we finally jump over to connected the front-end with the backend.
and release a beta version of our application and start testing as soon as the results are suitable we release our application.
Benefits of the Project
Today we are living in an era which is known as Century of Knowledge in which the main necessity is to gain knowledge. There are a lot of ways to gain knowledge but to gain from a professional teacher is the best one. Thus, here the problem occurs to find a professional teacher in your surrounding like in your city or somewhere around is very difficult, if you are not social in the same way for the teacher to find students that way to handle this problem we come with the solution our application the “Tuition Hub”. we fill the communication gap between these two parties and provide them a platform where they communicate and reacher themself. In this way the save both time and effects.
Technical Details of Final Deliverable
When we talk about the technical details of our application Tuition Hub.
1. For creating Simple design we use material UI.
2. For the database, we use Firebase as a back-end server.
3. For communication between back-end and front-end, we use JAVA as a programming language.
4. Provide user Manual through slider guidance.
5. To track the location of both teacher and student we use Google Map APIs.
6. Earning we use Google Admob ads service.
