Project Summary

Traino-Training Aide would be a web-based innovative management and information solution that would be implemented to facilitate trainees and trainers. Traino would be based on simplicity and ease-of-use. It helps every trainer to display his/her skillset, areas of interest, expertise and a whole lot more to create a multitudinous platform that helps trainees to connect with the targeted trainers. The objective of the traino is to provide ease in material dissemination and for the facilitation of trainees and trainers, where trainees could easily browse the trainers in the respective domains and trainers would be enabled to get feedback after completing their session, for their professional growth. For that purpose, the Traino would include modules of creating a profile to get registered on the system, uploading material module; in which a trainer would upload its training material, trainer selection module; where a trainee could search, select his trainer for training and could access training material, and feedback module for trainee’s feedback. The tools that would be used to develop this system are the Django Framework for backend and Brackets for front end (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery). Tools and their versions may vary.

Project Objectives

Following are the objectives of the project:

• To enable trainers and trainees to connect.
• To implement a platform for the facilitation of trainers and trainees.
• To facilitate trainees with a filter-based searchable catalog to browse with ease.
• To provide ease in terms of material dissemination, communication and evaluation.

Project Implementation Method

We would use an agile development approach in our project. As agile models are simple, flexible and provide ease to users to make changes in their requirements. The project would be divided into iterations and after completion of each iteration, the project would be demonstrated with the team.

We would use agile, Feature Driven Development (FDD) model that is based on increment at every stage which includes designing, implementing and testing.

Benefits of the Project

Traino would be based on simplicity and ease-of-use:

-Trainees would be able to select their trainers

-Trainees would be able to download training material 

-Trainees would be able to evaluate their trainers after completing their training session.

-Trainers would be able to earn independently with out involvement of any training institute.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The following are the tools and technology used in this project:

• Brackets
• JavaScript/JQuery
• Django (Python framework)
• SQL

Tools and their versions may vary.

As this is a web base application so its performance or output depends on the speed of internet connection. High speed internet is required to load trainer’s profile and training material from server. Major factor that may cause delay in showing results is that the server may get down. The system should perform all the actions correct and frequently.

There would be a report bug feature available where users can report any bugs they have encountered while using the web-based app so the developers can resolve the issue or issues. The user must have proper internet connection and system will respond to your actions in a better way. Moreover our system will be safe and secure as we are using HTTPS as a communication standard and credentials of every user will be safe and will not be shared to anyone.

• There will be login feature to authenticate user .Without login user cannot access features of this system.
• We are using Django framework of python which provide security of user’s data.
• Moreover, important data of user like passwords will be encrypted and saved to avoid misuse of data from external factors.
• All communication would be over https to make the system secure.
