Project Summary

After the emergence of COVID-19, the primary focus of all of us across the world is to stay safe and have to maintain social distance with the people irrespective to their COVID-19 status. Along with this, there is importance of finding COVID-19 affected persons on our own and stay distance from them. Many researchers and developers are working closely with public health authorities in exploring different options to support contact tracing with technological tools .For this purpose, we are developing a web application which traces the covid-19 patients and sends text message to user phone when covid-19 patient has come in contact with them.

We will develop an advanced and efficient dedicated COVID-19 tracking system using latest technologies.This system will be introduced as a solution of these issues as well as a substitution to the manual COVID tracking system. The users in this project will be Health Authority,Doctors,COVID-19 Patients and non-covid People's. This app will allow the users to register themselves and app will send an SMS alert when the user will come in contact with any COVID-19 positive if available. Internet will be required to run the app. User data security will be one of our main concern.

The app will also show the user nearest plasma donation center and the nearest vaccination center and also show the COVID 19 statistics on the daily bases and also on weekly and monthly bases.

Project Objectives

COVID-19 has marked larger foot prints on human lives, identifying people who are exposed to virus is becoming difficult as lockdown has come to an end.The main objective that we have is to create a completely automated COVID-19 tracking system with more security and minimal human interference. COVID-19 tracking system helps protect you, your family, and your community by:

Helping people diagnosed with COVID-19 get referrals for services and resources they may need to safely isolate.Notifying people who have come into close contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 about their exposure.

Helping people who were exposed to COVID-19 know what steps to take, depending on their vaccination status. Follow-up may include testing and quarantine for unvaccinated or not fully vaccinated people, and testing and wearing a mask for fully vaccinated.

Discussions with public health workers are confidential. This means that your personal and medical information will be kept private and only shared with those who may need to know, like your healthcare provider.

Project Implementation Method

3-Tier Architecture has been used in our project.

We have three layers in 3Tier Architecture:

Application Tier

Data Tier

. Presentation Tier:

We will develop an web App in which we will create interfaces by using java script Language. These interfaces will display all the information of User.

. Application Tier:

In this layer we will apply logics in our web Application .This tier- also called Middle tier, Logic tier and Business tier, pulled from presentation tier.

. Data Tier:

Data in this tier is kept independent of application servers and Business logic.

In this layer we will use MySQL database which will manage to store the data of users.

2.5. Operating Environment:

Operating environment for the TraceTogether is as listed below:

Operating System: Windows and IOS operating system

Database: Firebase

Platform: VS Code studio in which web app will be developed . Front end will be designed in HTML and CSS and backend will be designed in PHP Laravel.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The project final technical develiverables will be a completely designed covid tracking app that will track COVID 19 patients and app will provide the user location of nearest covid 19 centres.and the location of nearest plasma donation centers.
