The Photovoltaic system is the major renewable energy source to produce electricity. The output voltage of a PV is not sufficient enough for better performance of any type of Load devices to improve the output voltage MPPT with Boost Converter along with Perturb and Observe (P&O) algorithm  other than this many techniques like Beta method, solar charge controllers with pulse width modulation (PWM), fractional order PID, (FPGA) Field programmable gate array with fuzzy logic, Particle swarm optimization (PSO) are used. In all these methods  PV peak power is improved but not properly improved and maximized, to maximize and improve the peak power  output PI controller is used also the performance of output voltage shows non-linear curve which can also be improved by using fuzzy logic with PI in future.

Project Objectives
  1. To design and simulate the model of photovoltaic system.
  2. To enhance the performance of output Voltage using MPPT technique with Boost Converter.
  3. To design the PI controller for PV
  4. To analyze the performance of PV with (P&O) .
  5. Validate the results.
  6. Make the hardware model of Photovoltaic system with perturb and observe and analyze, compare its results with simulation results.
Project Implementation Method
  1. Collect the data through literature review.
  2. First simulate the Photovoltaic model.
  3. After that simulate the coding of (P&O) .
  4. Analyze and observe the results.
  5. And then develop the hardware model.
Benefits of the Project
  1. Improves the output voltage and current.
  2. Enhance the performance of PV system.
  3. Increase the output power.
Technical Details of Final Deliverable

There are many environmental problems caused due to renewable energy production from fossil fuel, biomass, geothermal energy and nuclear reaction .So it is necessary that an environmental sustainable source of energy must be invented. The solar energy is the most abundant resources and free of cost available on earth. The easy way to convert solar energy to electrical energy is photovoltaic (PV) system

This project is developing simulation and hardware model of photovoltaic system with (P&O) that maximize the output power with PI controller and improves the output voltage.
