Timetable Scheduling system based on IOT
In its most general context, scheduling involves the arrangement, coordination, and planning of the utilization of resources to achieve an objective Course timetabling problems particularly address the optimal utilization of classrooms and timeslots in sequencing lectures between instructors and students. During the construction of a timetable, one of the challenges is to ensure no constraints of faculty, courses, classrooms, timeslots, or students are violated. These types of resource-constrained schedule optimization problems have been long term studied with a huge volume of work in both operational research and artificial intelligence field. So, in order to cater this problem IOT based timetable scheduling system has been introduced. The Internet of things is a system of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines provided with unique identifiers and the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction.
By using the technique of IOT we are going to control class room independently by remote locations and could be able to monitor the weekly time table schedule of our academics. For this purpose a webpage has been designed that will allow you to put your weekly schedules Via this software and to control the electricity of 4-6 class rooms and a time without much stress and human intervention.
Furthermore, you cannot control them for one time only, you can control one class room appliance 4 times in a day! And if you need more sessions then we can add it via programming!
The significance of this study is it provide many benefits to many parties involved in the educational process and the management of educational institutions which include the following;
Sessions of class will be managed by the admin then according to the time set class schedule lights will be on and off, which save electricity and more billing.lights can also be manually on and off.
1)Low cost device to automate applainces.
2)Automatic ON and OFF electricity
3)Save energy
4)Schedule based system for multiple sessions
5)Wireless Connectivity
A web based timetabling scheduling system is developed to ensure classroom electricity must be turn on and off before and taking class by academic staffs and teachers so that it save money and time and effort for staff and teachers and to make difficult task easier and pushup it perfomance since this task incorporating to deal with.
Nod mcu esp 8266 iot chips used to catch the command from the webpage.
Electricity of classroom via relay switching
Control wires will be used to transmit data from one end to another.
