Project Objectives

our objective is to design a tilt sensor system that is a precise gravity referenced servo inclinometer that can be used for a wide variety of industrial and military applications. this system should be rugged and sustainable. it should have excellent temperature insensitivity and it should be shock and vibration resistant.

Project Implementation Method

high precision 2 axis (x and y) gravity referenced servo inclinometers suitable for both military and industrial applications. implementation will be demonstrated on software as well as the hard form will be checked on reference desk systems

the final deliverables of our fyp project are as follows:

1. Fully self-contained - connect to a DC power source and a readout or control device for a complete operating system.

2. High-level DC output signal proportional to the sine of the angle of tilt.

3. ±14.5° range.

4, Total electrical isolation between axes.

5.High accuracy specification Input voltage ±15 VDC; output signal ±5 VDC.
