Project Summary

The Smart Eye of emotion detection is the process of detecting the facial expressions of the audience by capturing the images. The audience can be any user and our main focus is on the student. Raspberry pi device connect with the camera to produce such a product.

This is an ease access for a teacher to teach students according to their mindset. A Virzit solution is already working on the whole of face detections system and security whereas we will be covering the emotions. Our first of all preference is to capture and note the emotions of students in the ongoing lecture in the class.

Virzit solutions are involved as a stakeholder in our project and we’ll be working on image processing of the emotions involved in human activities.

We are willing to develop a smart system to read human facial expression which leads to human actions.

So, this is all about our project and we have research a lot on it to enhance it more and far in the different areas of the world.

Project Objectives

The main objective of our project is to focus on human expressions by which we can read the human feelings and thinking.

Researchers at Ohio State University have found that humans can make 21 different facial expressions, a huge jump from the six emotions that were thought to be conveyed, including happy, sad, fearful, angry, disgusted and surprised.

New emotions include sadly angry, happily surprised, fearfully angry, angrily surprised and happily disgusted.

The lacking of collaborative learning in the class makes it difficult for the teacher to pay equal attention to the topic and students at the same time.

Students even don’t bother on what the teacher is explaining and prefer to study on their own using internet facility.

Teachers are unable to teach students according to their mindset and don’t bother about students interest.

Project Implementation Method

We did a lot of research on this project. Background history and Literature Review of any product is essential part for knowledgeable person to get knowledge about the application.

A literature review is the effective evaluation of selected documents on a research topic. A review may form an essential part of the research process or may constitute a research project in itself.

In the context of a research paper or thesis the literature review is a critical synthesis of previous research. The evaluation of the literature leads logically to the research question.

If we talk about the software and hardware research, we did lot of changes in selecting the hardware tools. We are working on Raspberry pimodel for our final year project

Benefits of the Project

Lacking in the communication has a great issue in the modern time. A person on the authorized seat cannot identify the issues or problems next to him/her. Our project will also help in gain the desire outcome and feedback as well. If we implement this in the other places like cinemas how user can use our software? There is a place a darkness can affect the results. Therefore we increase our scope and uses night vision camera for these type of affects.

Virzit solutions are involved as stakeholders in our project and we’ll be working on image processing of the emotions involved in human activities.

We are willing to develop a smart system to read human facial expression which leads to human actions.

We will be working on the notification of human emotions and activities and trying to figure out the outcome of these.

We currently research on the overall emotions of the human and as a result of research we find 21 kinds of emotions which a person can show.

 The thing which can be changeable is the image processing. We are working on image processing and machine learning that how much time it can be taken at a runtime.

We have bought an HD camera, Raspberry pi 3b+, and some connection wires for our project which would help us in making our project a success
