These scans are being used to identify potential patients of Covid-19. The government made it compulsory to scan everyone before entering the office, school, or any other crowded place. In this project, a Contactless Temperature Monitoring System will be developed; it will authenticate a person using face detection technology and then measures the body temperature of employee/students with a non-contact method and also measure heart pulse rate pulse detection and pulse amplification and log the Name & Temperature of that employee directly in the system and send the information mail to the administration portion.

Project Implementation MethodIn this project, a system will be developed which will first check the identity of a person using face detection technology and after the authentication process, it will check the temperature of a person without any contact with him and also check heart pulse rate and pulse detection of a person after that the formal mail send to the administration portion . The system will be consists of an android application and at the back end Raspberry pi hardware or Arduino UNO will be using along with the temperature and pulse rate sensors.
Benefits of the ProjectAs we all knows that now a days, due to COVID-19 situation there is a need of all the organizations to monitor the temperature of its employees and also even in the Schools they need to check the temperature of every teacher and student on daily basis. The old system using thermometer is risky in a way that it needs a person to check the temperature of others by carrying the traditional thermometer or laser thermometer which will increase the chances of the person to get infected from the other person. In this proposed system, there is no need of a person to check the temperature of other. The developed system is more affordable with low price compared to other developed devices . This system saves the lives of the people and results in much faster and accurate temperature reading result with acceptable outcomes.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableThe AI based temperature monitoring system using contactless face detection and heart pulse rate technology broadly consist of integrated system hardware or software . The hardware side will be consist of Raspberry pi 4 and Arduino UNO along with the sensors the MLX90614 temperature sensor and pulse rate sensor connected to raspberry pi or Arduino with the camera. If the temperature is high so the buzzer rings and also red lights on raspberry pi store all the data of the person when the person/ student use the device the temperature sensor detect the temperature it will be show on screen and also the temperature and heart pulse information send through mail to the administration portion.
