“Code The Way You Talk”. Talk code is an innovative Desktop Application that is going to allow programmers to code without writing by using the best way of communication i-e through the voice. This Application is basically an interface between a computer and human, a programmer can easily code whatever he wants just by using his voice. Using this application will reduce the risk of Repetitive Strain Injury and back pain because of vocal contact.

Project Objectives

Our main purpose of writing this proposal is to motivate the user to complete the work with full heart and interest rather than doing it just for the sake of completion. The programmer only needs to put into words the code he wants to write. This application talk code will not only be beneficial for programmers but also those who are technically strong programmers but are helpless because of physical disabilities. Our application takes control from the keyboard and gives full control to your mind which unfolds limitless possibilities because the mind thinks of achieving results rather than following steps of the computer because human brain perfectly adapts the language expression. The mission is to eliminate injuries while increasing productivity and pushing the boundaries of computer interaction and automation.

Project Implementation Method

The application will take the details of the material the programmer desires to code then it will use artificial intelligence to conclude the desired code. We will be using Hardware Core i3 PC, Noise Cancellation Microphone, Microsoft Windows Operating system, and Software are Microsoft Visual Studio for coding, Structure Query Language (SQL) Server for database and Microsoft speech API for speech recognition.

Benefits of the Project

Our application is going to provide a helping hand to programmers so that they can code easily by using their voice when they are tired of writing long codes it will also going to benefit those tech geniuses who are strong in programming but are having physical disabilities such as a person who has no hands but desires to code can use this application and code easily through his voice. The chances of mistakes are extremely less when we code by using our voice rather than writing.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The Talk Code is a voice to code program that is going to use the human voice to write codes without using the hands. The idea is to build an application that provides comfort to a different type of users like Programmers, disable person, teachers, and student, etc. Talk Code is quite similar to a product previously made by the name Voice Code. Voice code is a concise spoken language that controls your computer in real-time. When writing anything from emails to kernel code, to switching applications or navigating Photoshop – Voice Code does the job faster and easier. This application, Voice Code, had a lot of flaws, firstly it was built on a MAC operating system that is not very common, secondly that program uses conventions which is only understandable to the core developers, not normal user, while Talk Code is designed for Windows operating system, and it uses conventions that will be easily understandable to normal programmers, teachers & students. we are trying to make this innovative coding software on the Windows platform so that its usage can become maximum. On the other hand, the software’s that are in competition with us are built on Mac operating system so we are trying to develop our software on Windows operating system so that it can be used by windows users since a large market share is covered by windows operating system so it will be bene?cial for us to enter the market. The picture below shows that Windows OS has got the maximum market share worldwide so our product will help in maximizing the use of ‘Voice to Code’ Software for the end users.
