Talaash
Project Area of Specialization Artificial IntelligenceProject SummaryTalaash is a web-based platform. Where people across the globe can find their missing ‘persons’, ‘pets’ and ‘things’ in just a few clicks. Talaash is based on main three components.
First part deal with humans in which authenticate user can upload images and search out his/her missing persons by using face recognization techniques and cnic matching. People can add his/her missing person personal information on our website. In case anyone found his/her lost person anywhere in the world then our system will automatically inform his/her owner(user), that your person has been recovered. Now both parties can contact each other via email. In the worst-case, no one found a missing person then his/her owner(user) could remove and update the status of the missing person.
The second part deals with pets (cats & dogs) in which anyone can upload images with proper required information about his pets on our website and also search out his/her lost pet by using narrow down search which provides many filters like breed and type of pet etc. They can visit the newsfeed section in which they could see regular uploads posts about lost and found pets. In case anyone found his/her lost/found pet anywhere in the world, then the person who found it they contact his owner via email. In the worst case, no one found the missing pet then his/her owner could remove and update the status of the pet.
The third part deals with three kinds of stuff which include on “Automobiles”, “Electronics” and “Stationary”. It works on the country level in which any user who lost his thing, can upload his images with required information about his stuff. If anyone discovered it, then they contact his owner via email or any other suitable medium. People use newsfeed for searching his missing things and also search via narrow down search which helps figure out their thing. The owner can update or delete his/her post status. One person adds more than one post in all the above three parts of our website.
Project ObjectivesThe overall objective is to develop a Talaash that is a computerized trustworthy identification of lost persons, pets, and things system that performs the following tasks:
- To computerize every single record.
- Too helpful for local citizens and government sectors.
- To efficiently provide superior performance in face recognization.
- Users can update and delete his/her person, pet, and thing data.
- Notification will be sent to the owner of the person when it is found by someone.
- It will be helpful for our rescue departments and orphan houses.
- In hospitals, doctors used it for the identification of injured persons.
- People can find their pets and other regular stuff.
- Easy to identify missing persons all over the world.
- It works on desktop and mobile-based browsers.
- Gives better accuracy than other current platforms.
- Provides reliability and security harmoniously.
- User-friendly interface.
The software development models are the various processes or methodologies that are being selected for the development of the project depending on the project’s aims and goals. There are many development life cycle models that have been developed in order to achieve different required objectives. So, in this project we are going to choose Incremental Life Cycle model this will help in our work. We are using incremental model because this model involves both development and maintenance. This model is designed, implemented and tested incrementally (a little more is added each time) until the product is finished. So, our project involves both development and maintenance.
Benefits of Selected Model- Life Cycle
The software will be generated quickly during the software life cycle.
- Flexibility
It is flexible and less expensive to change requirements and scope.
- Development Stages
Throughout the development stages changes can be done.
- Cost
This model is less costly compared to others
- Error Detection
Errors are easy to be identified.
- Testing and Debugging
Testing and debugging can be easy during smaller iteration.
Easy to manage risk
Limitation of Model- Planning and Designing
It requires a good planning and designing.
- System Architecture Problems
Problems can arise with every architecture of the system because not all requirements are met Front for full software life cycle.
- Rigid Iteration
Each phase of an iteration is rigid and don't overlap one another.
Benefits of the Project- It will be helpful for our rescue departments and orphan houses.
Technical detail that will be covered in our project:
- Add posting and searching.
- Facial recognization of persons.
- Alert notification facility.
- NewsFeed section.
- Users account management.
- Admin account management.
