AI Table Tennis will be used when we want to eliminate a referee and to get accurate scores. It helps in maintaining the rules and regulations of the game. For example, it detects the foul in the game as pointed out by the referee. The software does not allow manual changes to the score. Hence, removing any favoritism.

We can achieve our goal by using Computer Vision methods and with the AI we can make the decisions to find the points

Benefits of the Project

Table tennis is considered one of the fastest games in the world and in the blink of an eye the points are shifted. To consider this point of view we decided to build the Referee of the table tennis using the Artificial and computer vision technologies.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The final system will consist of a built-in camera that will act as the referee and will calculate the points of teams and track the ball. Our code will run on Raspberry pi for sending commands to the camera which will be present at a certain height.
