Checking systems which are working at entrance of offices, buildings, institutes etc. are manual and guards are deployed to check the identification of visiting people. Sometimes it gets hard for them to check the identities of all in rush hours. So the chances of penetration by unauthorized people is high during these hours. Moreover, a person can enter the premises by climbing the wall or any other way. By considering all these issues it is clear that security systems only at the entrance are not sufficient. We need a system which can check the people who are present in the premises. Automation of these checking systems is direly required.
By looking into the above mentioned issues, we have proposed a real-time system which will identify the people in the pictures taken by cameras and can monitor the movement of any suspect. It will inform and help the security staff in observing/arresting the suspect.
The objectives of our project are:
To detect the presence of an unauthorised person in the premises we will develop a system which will continuously monitor the area by using camera and the camera will take the picture of the person and compare it with dataset to identify the person whether it is authorized or not. In case of any suspect or weapon is detected then the alarm will be generated. The system will communicate with the control room using an app/software to arrest the suspect or stop illegal activities. We will use different image processing techniques to identify the suspect or unauthorized person. In this project, we will use cameras which will be connected with the control room of institute.
The Suspect and weapon identification system is very helpful in safe city projects and we can also use it in buildings and different institiutes to overcome the security issues and detect the illgegal objects and unauthorized person. we can also use it for the security agencies to capture the criminals or most wanted person by face detection and comparing it with the database of the criminals.

The following Artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms will be used to detect the faces and weapons.
