Project Objectives
- To design and construct an elevator mounted along staircase to help people with restricted mobility to move between the floors of the house independently and safely.
- The staircase lift should be able to lift the person having weight up to 120kg.
- System must ensure all the safety requirements.
Project Implementation Method
A staircase lift is a mechanism that can be easily install on any kind of stairs in any situation it can replace elevators. there is bi-rails on which chair can move and a gear is atttached to motor which can move on rack. motor is installed in the chair frame. This gear worm motor that has also self breaking system.
- seat belt is installed on chair.
- emergency stop button is installed.
- alarm bell is also installed.
- obstacle detectable chair.
- durable, relaiable and comfortable chair.
Benefits of the Project
this project is not locally build in pakistan. its importing from other countries tooks 5 lacs and that has not much features but this chair only has price 70000pkr.
this project can use in modern era buildings where there is less space so you can replace elevators.
