In today's world, almost all purposes. They
find their application in defense, surveillance,
transport and in many other places. Our
project is based on building a robot having a
capability to climb stairs carrying up to 5Kg
of weight excluding its own weight. This
robot will be able to go to places were human
life can be at risk and can help in
surveillance, as a camera will be placed at the
front side of the robot. In this proposal we
present the purpose, construction and
application of a stair climbing robot.
To make staircase climbing robot which can climb the steps of given height without being interrupted and with
maximum stability. The main objective of this project is the making of staircase climbing robot which can climb
steps while not getting trapped between the steps, another is stability of robot during climbing.
We will make an user friendly app. That robot will be controlled by that app. App will be designed specifically for our robot.
There are four types of potential customers. House moving companies need this machine to move heavy items
up or down stairs. Disabled people with wheelchairs can use it to climb up or down stairs. House holders can
use this machine to move furniture up or down stairs. At last, shopping center could use this machine to transfer
heavy items like vending machines up/down stairs, it can also be used for military purpose.
A full working robot that can climb stairs and moved around on inclined planes. It will be controlled by an app.
