The aim of this research is to indigenously develop the state of the art software based system for the recognition and classification of speech disorder in adults and children (male and female both). This project might be the step to provide platform for speech therapy clinics to execute effective pronunciation analysis system for patient with speech disorders, even in the absence of clinicians.

The software will help patients to identify Language Learning Disability (LLD) using novel technique, which is a concurrent approach that may help earlier diagnosis and remediation.

The major outcome of this project is intelligent software for automatic recognition and classification of speech disorder.

Project Objectives

1. To design and develop speech disorder recognition and classification system using multiple feature extraction technique for better accuracy.
2. To investigate the limitations of the existing speech disorder datasets.
