Long time waiting for one's turn in a queue for a service in present digitized era is not feasible because time is a once-used currency and it cannot be wasted in unnecessary wait in today's fast-paced world. For the purpose of saving valuable time, there are few already developed applications for queue management system, but none of them cover all the vendors rather they are built to serve individually while our smart queue system is generalized system that could be workable for various vendors e.g. Nadra, hospitals, offices, etc. on single platform. This system will be mobile and web-based system. Web application is for vendors to manage queues in the service organization and mobile application for providing services to customers. This system manage customers' valuable time to a significant extent by predicting the estimated arrival time by using Global Positioning System (GPS) and previous generated data.

Project Objectives

1.         To develop a system that should be generalize and would be workable for various vendors, e.g. hospital, offices.

2.         Manage customer’s valuable time to a significant extent.

3.         To manage the time, system will use GPD system and previous generated data.

Project Implementation Method

This application will be workable for various types of vendors which include NADRA, Hospitals, Business Offices, etc. on just one platform. The web platform will be used the vendor to manage customer queues in the virtual space of service organization while, the mobile application will be used by customers to access the specific services. The mechanism of React Native Framework (RN) will be used to create the cross-platform mechanism for the working of the application. Similarly, the mechanism of Angular Framework will be used for creating the front hand of the web platform while the PHP will be used for creating the web application’s back end. This system will manage customer’s valuable time efficiently by predicting the accurate/estimate arrival time by using the Global Positioning System (GPS) and previously generated customer-fed data.

Benefits of the Project

According to our research, there has not been substantial development for deploying the mobile and web-based systems for the use of general vendors. By which, waiting time can be managed. Actually, the user receives an acknowledgement from the system 30 minutes before their turn in the present used systems. To overcome this gap of time, development of both mobile and web applications is being done. This application will be workable for various types of vendors which include NADRA, Hospitals, Business Offices, etc. on just one platform. The web platform will be used by vendor to manage customer queues in the virtual space of service organization while, the mobile application will be used by customers to access the specific services.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable
