Most of the road accident are caused when the drivers are not attentive or sleeping during driving. So we have proposed a driver's attention recognition system that will be able to recognize whether the driver is sleeping or not attentive and after recognition the system will give him an alarm if he found to be not attentive.

Project Objectives

To achieve an accurate system, which will be able to detect you head position and eyse position and recognize them if you are not attentive it will give you a call on correct time and will save someone's life (save human beings)

Project Implementation Method

In first session we did coding in phython using neural networks and image processing in which we familiar our system with humans head position and told them the correct and wrong positions then through arduino we did serial communication with laptop and and connect alarming outputs with Arduino the webcam connected with laptop will read your head and eyes position and give us an alarm if your position is Disturbed

Benefits of the Project

According to an article there are more death ratio in road accidents than world war one and two , this system is beneficial to save humans from accidents and will play it's best role to prevent road accidents which are causing due to drowsy driving.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

For this time we are using laptop to run this system but if someone sponsor us we will run this system with the help of DSP Starter which cost about 70k .

Our final product will be a DSP kit with  a small digital night vision camera which can be placed manually in a car switch board and and will start the process.

If some car producing company sponsored us we can fit it in a car internally
