Project Area of Specialization Computer ScienceProject SummaryMost of the people in residential areas face the problem of running out water and overflow of water in water tanks due to excess water of supply. It becomes difficult for users to judge the level of water in water tanks. When the pump is ON the user will not realize that the water tank is filled which may result in overflow. Water tank management system is used to sort out the issues associated with water tank.
Project ObjectivesThere are some objectives need to be achieved in order to accomplish this project. These objective will act as a guide and will restrict system to be implemented for certain situations.
To develop water tank management system to control the water level in the tank.
To check the level of water in the tank.
The motor will on when the level goes below or the motor off when the tank is full.
To display the water level data on a LCD.
Project Implementation MethodThe implementation method of this project is divided into categories.
First we work on the components after that we start combining the components and testing it time by time.
Then we work on the motor and sensors. Then we gather all the components on Arduino, work on its code and check the results.
Then we design UI of our project. After that we work on how to integrate our hardware with software so that user can control the motor directly.
Benefits of the ProjectThe benefits of our project would be that it can be easily control, which saves time and effort. It balance and prevent overflows. Reduce human energy. It is easy to use and affordable. Clearly show indication of the overhead tank water level. Clearly show indication of the ground tank.
Technical Details of Final DeliverableOur final deliverable is to be the software side work. We working software for which the user can control the moto directly.
User need to install the app, after signing up. User will able to control the motor.
