Citizens of that area faces the problem of water and the area got dirty due to this. Roads were covered with water which is reasonable for the traffic jam. KWSB inspect 6 kilometer pipeline to find the leakage which is useless because it took time and the public facing problems against this delay work.
As per Dawn News article published on November 29, 2020.At resident of Fatima Jinnah Colony, people appealed for pipeline damage and supply of sewage-mixed water to their locality which was not resolved for the past many years this motivate us to set it as IoT so that the problem should resolve immediately and should be done perfectly.
As per Ary News article published on January 24, 2020. This news indicates that traffic flow disrupts as water pipe lines burst in Karachi which affected the traffic movement along one section at busy Shahrai -e- Faisal, which was reported by ARY News on Friday morning. Thousands of fresh water was wasted time by time due to non-fixation of the leakage. Due to this road were jam and also other areas were also jammed due to water pipe line leakage.
We are designing an Arduino based water distribution system will be helpful for the society from facing the problems of water leakage from pipelines, prevent wastage of water and monitors proper flow of water through pipelines. This project includes the storage and cleaning of water and also monitors the time duration of cleaning of water.
This project will help us in smooth flow of water supply without leakage and blockage. If any leakage or blockage is detected in the pipeline, we will stop supply of water from the damaged pipeline and convert the supply to another pipeline so that water supply may not be affected due to blockage and leakage.
This project is based on the controlling and monitoring of the flow of water through pipeline and making it IoT based which will be helpful for our society in case of any leakage or blockage happens, the another route of water supply will be enabled and release all the water from that blocked and leaked pipeline to another pipeline and flow in an efficient manner. The process will be continued with no loss and the information regarding blockage or leakage will be collected through sensors and sent to relevant authorities via IoT.
Project Objectives- To control and monitor the flow of water via IoT.
- To monitor and control the water level in pipeline using multiple sensors.
- To implement machine to machine communication through IoT using temperature sensors and current transformer so water pump will monitor and control in sufficient manner.
- To monitor the time duration of cleaning of water.
- To monitor the leakage or blockage of pipeline.

We are working as using IoT to monitor and control the flow of water.
Ø Purification of water to clean the dirt and bacteria from water and give clean water.
- Flow sensor to monitor the amount of water flow from the motor.
- Pressure sensor to control the pressure of water in pipeline.
- To monitor and control the blockage, leakage or any other Problem occurred in pipeline by shifting flow to another pipeline.
- Water level sensor to monitor the water level in the storage tank.
- If the water level in the tank decreases from a certain defined level, then a warning is generated and the motor will be automatically turned off.

- Prevent from the damage and destruction of pipeline due to blockage.
- Prevent from leakage and wastage of water from pipelines.
- Flow of water without any problem, if any problem occur then the water flow will be shifted to another pipeline for smooth flow of water.
