Smart Solar Panel System
Summary:
Energy demands in the recent years have been recorded to be growing at an exponential rate by the commercial and as well as domestic markets. While the non-renewable resources are rapidly getting depleted, it leaves no other option but to use renewable resources to produce usable energy. One of these resources, the solar energy is the most abundant and easy to harness resource through Solar panels. This project makes this process of harnessing solar energy more efficient.
We need to place a solar in such position to capture more sun rays and give us maximum voltage as it can. For this I am going to implement a smart solar panel system. That automatically adjust it position according to the sun. For this a motor will be used to rotate panel according to sun. A battery will be connected to it and we will connected to. it will give us maximum voltage .and for rotation according to sun LDR sensor is used.
The System will check if battery is fully charged then it will stop voltage coming from solar system. Output from solar system will be displayed on LCD display.
1: To get maximum output voltage from solar system whole day.
2: To avoid overcharging of batteries so that battery life should be increased.
3: To monitor the output voltage from solar system.
Project Implementation Method:
First Step of Implementation:
First we will implement a solar system that will rotate and adjust its position according to sun. For this LDR Sensor will be interfaced with Arduino.
Arduino will receive input from LDR and will give output to the servo motor (that is used for rotation).
Second Step of Implementation:
The solar voltage output will connected to battery.
Third Step of Implementation:
Conditional Statements will be used to check if battery is fully charged or not.
For this battery charger module will be interfaced with Arduino. If battery is fully charged, the system will stop the voltage.
First programming languages and IDE’s that will be used for the implementation of this project.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable:
The final deliverable of this project will be smart solar panel system. A dedicated software will be developed which will be integrated with the hardware. The system has two major parts, solar tracking and solar monitoring. Circuit will be installed on both side.
