Project Objectives

The Transparence of the display is controlled completely by the color of contents. That White is transparent (translucent) but Black blocks the light completely, allowing you to make the products appear and disappear before your eyes and with the help of IR technology user can actually interact with the product itself.  By this method it make our project unique and great factors

Project Implementation Method

In LCD the back plate consist of LED Strip which emits light then there is separate layer that’s Reflector, each of this LEDs poke through the reflector and then get diffuse by diffuser plate and then get illuminated by several optical sheet before creating an image that shine out the front which make LCD complicated inside and that kind of what make them so thick. It need each layers in order to function. Now in the other hand we have our CCD transparent display which don’t need all this layer. A CCD transparent display is just the single panel that display the whole image. In our Project light is directly introduce through the panel glass substrates from the edge of the substrates (not from back surface). At surface of the substrates the light takes the total reflection by deference of reflective index between glass and air. 

Benefits of the Project

It contain the transparent screen which shows the information or data of product which display above it. It is the best way to convince the costumers about product because of this future type display we can imagine all kind of retail possibilities and show its benefits and features instead of telling it. It’s take less time and easily understand by costumers.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

The design of our project is unique any very convincing as it contain highly transparent color liquid crystal display (LCD) using newly developed scattering-type liquid crystal, which shows transparent state when voltage is not applied, with field sequential color Field Sequential Color (FSC) driving method without employing color filter and polarizer. Furthermore the light is directly introduced to the panel glass substrates from the edge of the substrates (not from back surface). At surface of the substrates, the light takes a total reflection and propagates through the substrate. On the other hand, when a voltage higher than a threshold voltage (Vth) is applied to liquid crystal (LC) layer, the light is scattered towards the viewers. This newly developed display has high transmittance (80 %), wide color gamut and fast response time.
