The trends of digitalization and automation will together change the industry with evolution of smart solutions that is backed up by industry 4.0 (4th Industrial Revolution) and a help in addressing how other parts of the textile industry might benefit from its application. This project focuses on design elements that optimizes and automates a large portion of the textile industry manufacturing process by enabling a predictive analysis on data set of a particular clothing and then recommending cloth’s price and raw materials that are going to be used throughout the manufacturing process of that product.

Project Objectives

The objective of our project is to develop a system that is able to detect wastage sources, alert the respective department, to predict the cost of the product and all the raw materials that are going to be used in that product with best possible achievable accuracy. The ML model used in our system would improve with data and experience that help to reduce time and wastage of raw material during different cycles of making a single clothing product.

Project Implementation Method

Digitalization of the process of predicting the raw material needed for making the product A to Z and cost of a particular clothing product would certainly prove a milestone to save costs and resources in business. Digitalisation opens up options for transparently presenting the origin, ingredients and production routes, i.e., the entire journey of a product. And that will change the perception and the processes of the entire industry. It is not only the desire for sustainability, it is also the control of costs and margins within the global supply chain that is driving the turn to resource efficiency and therefore, sustainability as well.
Sustainability in the textile industry is efficient management in all stages of the process chain and circular processes, such as:
? Resource-saving dyeing processes

? Renewable resources

? Recycling as USP

? Circular industrial design

Since, we are also using AI based technology and applying Machine learning models with accurate results, hopefully, with the help of smart technology solutions, this digitization process would not only automate some process but also make different sectors of the same industry to work independently without worrying about the result of other departments to move further.
Our project may achieve following aspects advantages in textile industry:
? Reduction of material wastage

? Less time, more production

? Best quality of product on cheaper costs

? Best prediction on cost and raw material used on a consignment

? Predicting cost and raw materials to complete a new design of clothing etc.

Benefits of the Project

The textile industry generates and creates several data sources and reports. All the data generated is in various forms, such as words, images, etc. Large data availability and management is a hectic process present in different cycles of making a product lead us to the Idea of automation of price and raw material prediction. The manufacture of textile provides an economic boost to many countries in the world. Economies can be made or broken with the addition or loss of a textile industry which is why our project can be scaled to a big level dependent on the scale of the textile industry we are dealing with.

Expected Outcome
- Will be able to track wastage sources and wastage areas

- BOM data with great precision

- Will be able to predict costs, manufacturing process and time of bulk orders from the BOM of a sample

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

An ERP or sort of ERP that can do things smartly, autofill through predictions and can able to tell if the person inserting data is correct or is there any mistake or is there any better alternative already available instead of buying and sending.
