Smart office energy management system (SOEMS) that can reduce the energy consumption of PCs, monitors, and lights in an office environment through the use of a mobile app and Bluetooth Low Energy based Beacons (BLE Beacons). BLE Beacons placed at several places in an office and a mobile app are used to determine whether a user enters or exits the office to change the power saving mode of the user's PCs, monitors, and lights. The proposed system can reduce energy consumption in the office without causing user inconvenience. A novel system framework using BLE Beacon was proposed to detect the user location, and to perform power management in the home through a mobile device application. The system also gives the idea about many events and programs by advertising their details and providing details of meetings in the office on reaching the place so system alerts the employees if the meeting starts and they are outside the meeting room. Design of our product is unique, we will just have a hardware beacon, building in which there are many floors and a mobile phone with Bluetooth connectivity. We will simply turn on the beacon and then an employee of the office enter in the building they will be connected to our device then at backend we have an application in which we have coded that how crowd is coming and we are doing crowd counting with device and application, with the help of application we will get number of peoples sitting in room and then based on number of people we will turn on and off lights and fans .We will use c++ to connect the ibeacon with the building and use an app on which admin connect to their environment.
Our final darware will be a device iBeacon which will be placed on different floors of building and we will have an app where we will get information of peoples and then at backend counting will be done and on that basis our light energy is saving.
