Project Area of Specialization Electrical/Electronic EngineeringProject SummaryThe suit consists of three main things: Hat, vest and shoes. It provides benefits to those differently-abled people through a suit that uses ultrasonic sensors for navigation and it can be easily located in case of emergency with the help of microcontrollers and 4G device. Further, it ensures the safety and independent mobility of blind people. Whenever the sensor senses an object around it, a vibrating motor and buzzer is attached to the output that would transmit a vibrating signal is transmitted and direct the person.
Project ObjectivesOur objective is to guide blind person through a suit that help a blind person in detecting obstacles and preventing from unwanted collisions. It is a low cost solution that can alleviate the injury risk for blind person. We aim to pin points the location of blind person and send it to specific person when he feels lost.
Project Implementation MethodThe suit contain three main things: Hat, vest and shoes. Each of them consists of ESP 32 Microcontroller, ultra-sonic sensor and vibrating motor. Whenever the sensor senses an object at some length before the user, It would navigate the user from hurdles by buzzer and vibrating motor attached to it. And it will send the control signals to microcontroller. This microcontroller will further link to main circuit (which is placed in the vest) through built-in Bluetooth module. Further, it can alert the family and parental figures when the user trips over by upcoming obstacles and barriers. Whenever the person feels left out or in an emergency, he can trigger so that his location can be forwarded to his trusted contact immediately.

The suit consists of Microcontroller, ultra-sonic sensor, vibrating motor, buzzer, 4G device, GPS Module, Lithium Ion cell, powerbank, resistors, transistor, Arduino-Nano, LEDs, Switch, LCDs, Lithium cell holder,vero board. Whenever the sensor senses an object at some length before the user, It would navigate the user by ultrasonic sensors from hurdles by buzzer and vibrating motor attached to it. And it will send the control signals to microcontroller. This microcontroller will further link to main circuit (which is placed in the vest) through built-in Bluetooth module. Further, it can alert the family and parental figures when the user trips over by upcoming obstacles and barriers. Whenever the person feels left out or in an emergency, he can trigger with the button attached so that his location can be forwarded to his trusted contact immediately. Lithium-Ion cell is placed that provides power to all the components in the circuit. Power bank can be used to charge Li-Ion cell.
