This real time on the spot unit consumption information will compel consumer to manage and reduce their energy use. The Smart Metering System analyzes logs and displays electrical energy usage by getting readings such as voltage, current and total units consumed. The Smart Metering System is connected over Wi-Fi. The consumer can view consumed electrical units by an android application. |

This real time on the spot unit consumption information will compel consumer to manage and reduce their energy use. The Smart Metering System analyzes logs and displays electrical energy usage by getting readings such as voltage, current and total units consumed. The Smart Metering System is connected over Wi-Fi. - Provide SMS based alerts.
- Full Application (android) control.
| Users can access their consumption of electricity (units) usage anywhere in real time with the help of application. On 50 % SMS based alert is generated and then 75 % again alert is generated and on 100 % Electricity (Units) consumption the electricity will be terminated. Now user will have an option on the application to get access of Electricity by purchasing more units. |

Has a feature of terminating the home electricity off when it is not in use.
By managing and controlling unit utilization it spares much greater electricity.
Reduction of electrical energy also means reduction of carbon emission. This also helps in reducing the adverse environmental effects.
