This project is proposed for Smart Irrigation System for large or small scale and make it smarter and more effective. 

Different sensors Soil Moisture, Light, Temperature, level, rain, flow with different another device water pump, Battery, LCD, Solenoid valve have been used to make this project. Using Arduino proved profitable, it is able to serve numbers of different sensors, at the same time and the markets offer various type and sizes of sensors. Arduino boards are another device.

The mobile application is to control the system remotely. Which allow a user to monitor the whole system and if there is any problem or passing of water user can switch off the system through this application.

Benifits

Soil Moisture Sensor Allows for water use only when and where needed.

Farmers can visualize water levels and soil moisture in real time and remotely to accelerate decision making process.

Automating Process in Irrigation can reduce resourse cunsumption, Human errors and overall costs.

The machine-to-machine interaction provides better efficiency, hence; accurate results can be obtained fast.

Technical Details of Final Deliverable

A smart irrigation system suitable for use in places where water scarcity is a challenge. In many parts of Sindh and Balochistan, even when irrigation is practiced, it is manually operated. Smart irrigation system is thereby believed to be a major solution. The project therefore presents a smart irrigation system that optimizes the available water in the water reservoir thus providing an efficient and effective water usage solution for the irrigation system. The irrigation system is able to automatically start/stop water pumps on the irrigation site based on the soil moisture content acquired from the moisture content sensor.
